DR100 problems in loud environments.
I shoot bands frequently and have discovered at times when filming on stage near very loud speakers the footage becomes very choppy. This has happened at different venues and only under near deafening levels of sound. Has anyone else encountered the same issues?

A DP friend of mine from Denmark also shared to me similar experiences with the FS when he shoots motorcycle racing which also generates high frequency noise.
I have the FS-4 hd but usually shoot in controlled situations. |

Not exactly related to tapless but related to loud audio
Several months ago I experienced the same problem when recording on tape with my XH-A1 Although the effect was more like shaking video in stead of choppy. I think the loud audio causes mechanical interference in the camera or in your case the external recorder. |
