Re: Official Rules for the DV Challenge
That's a good question, Rodger! The DVC has become pretty much "on demand." Dylan's busy schedule makes it difficult for him to be as involved as he once was. He's the brains and the excitement behind the DVC so without him it's pretty uncertain. And Guy at DVeStore has been such a GREAT sponsor all this time he needs to be consulted for sure. But they've never said no if it looks like a good-sized group and opportunity for some fun filmmaking. :)

Re: Official Rules for the DV Challenge
I was thinking that we should have a bit of a different challenge.
The idea would be to have all participants shoot the same generic script. The script would be two or three people that could be either sex. The dialogue would also be fairly plain-- two people talking about some personal things, but the location, and what going on around them would be up to the shooters. Could be in a tract home in suburbia, in a trench during a fire fight, or in the middle of an alien invasion....... Maybe have a contest first for the script to use, then the filming begins. Thoughts ?

Re: Official Rules for the DV Challenge
I suggest that everyone be required to shoot their own version of Office Time Machine.
