How to Install Cineform Aspect HD WITHOUT Premiere?
Hi, sorry if this has been answered before, but I could not find the answer.
I've built a HDMI capture PC based on Win XP and Intensity card. Now I'm installing Aspect HD (I have 4.3, works fine.) Aspect says it cannot finish install since it can't find Premiere plugin directory. Now, I understand that Aspect HD is a Premiere accelerator version; but why am I forced to install Premiere Pro just to run Aspect's HDlink capture utility? I only need to capture HDMI into Aspect HD files, that's it. All editing will be done on a different machine. How to install without Premiere? |

There is a way to fake out Aspect HD to install without PPro, but I don't know it. Think it needs these registry keys
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Premiere Pro\CurrentVersion] "Plug-InsDir"="C:\\Program Files\\Adobe\\Common\\Plug-ins\\CS3\\MediaCore" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Premiere Pro\3.0] "Language"="en_US" And a path that exist C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS3\Plug-ins\en_US If that does work, please try support.
