XF300/305 replacement soon?
I've owned a Canon XF300 since they became available & I'm very happy with it, especially it's ability to withstand the rigours of shooting in the marine world.
I was wondering when we can expect Canon to produce a new model to replace the XF300/305, or do they think the EOS C500 is its successor? I'm afraid I'm not fond of the stills camera form factor for shooting video. |

Re: XF300/305 replacement soon?
It will probably be a while yet. Unfortunately most of the video world seems to be concentrating on getting lightning to strike a second time and are focusing on cinema type cameras. Those of us who just need a good video camera for a good price are kind of getting left in the dark.
