Ran into problem mounting lens, follow focus, matte box and base plate
I just bought a Redrockmicro matte box deluxe and a Zacuto - Z-UB3 Universal Baseplate Version 3. All my lens can be mounted on the Base plate and used with the Redrock follow focus and the Matte box with the exception of the Zeiss 50mm. It small so the follow focus can't be mounted on the rods there's not enough room to be used together with the matte box. Does anyone have a similar configuration and has someone come up with a workable solution? If I remove the follow focus the Zeiss can be mounted with the matte box but then i will have to manually turn the focus ring by hand. I also have a Tokina 11-16mm that I use it works with this configuration but I can't use it wide open but I already knew that would be a problem. Anyway suggestion for getting the Zeiss to work in conjunction with the matte box and follow focus would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Ran into problem mounting lens, follow focus, matte box and base plate
Hi Kajito,
One trick a lot of people will do with their shorter lens is attach lens hoods or screw on lens shades to expand the lengths of their lenses, that tends to spread everything out on the rails. Feel free to shoot me a photo of your setup to lsimons(at)redrockmicro.com and I'll take a look and see if there's anything I can think of. Cheers, Loren Simons
