Cheaters - low brow TV show from Dallas

Last night I watched a vile but curiously interesting TV show called, "Cheaters." They also have a website called, http://www.cheaters.com

Has anyone seen this show? It's filmed in Dallas, Texas.

Yes, I've seen it. Once or twice. It's either a great show, or a horrible show, depending on which side of the cheating fence you reside.

What I can't figure out is how they get clearances to put the shows on after... You would think they would still need the "cheater's" permission to use his likeness....

Maybe the people caught cheating get offered money?

Anyways, I found it entertaining. Good show.

It's like COPS they have to sign releases to use their likeness on the program.
Believe it or not, just like COPS these people actually sign the release.
Amazing what people will do.

I don't think its a "great" show but far from being vile in my opinion. It serves a purpose. I find the "cheater" finally being held accountable to be true justice.

Wasn't the host of Cheater's stabbed in one episode?

I don't know about that but I'm sure some of the crew got attacked, from what I saw. The participants seem to consist of losers and low-life. My kind of show! ;)

Yea,

He got stabbed. One of the few episodes I have seen. The host and crew appeared to not have seen it coming. Although the host is obviously in a confrontational situations he has a very calm and soothing demeanor with the person being cheated on.

Regards.

Okay, I have to confess, I've watched this show too. The current host (who was the one that got stabbed) isn't the original host. The first guy was a tall dude and much bigger.

And to keep this on topic with DVInfo, if you look closely you'll notice the cameras usually don't have lens hoods on them. I'm guessing they shoot without them because the irate cheaters will otherwise twist them off when they put their hands all over the camera lens.

They would need toilet plungers for hoods and not those expensive Hoyas and B+Ws. My 2 cents.

Yeah I was a back up cam op. once for the show. Pretty interesting as far as the whole ambush tactics done, which in a way helped me as a Photojournalist in Waco. Pay is pretty good as long you get to bust someone though, if not half pay.

stabbing,.....

I actually thought the host deserved the stabbing. Ofcourse I wouldn't wish death upon him,........but he is part of a vile, disgusting show,.....that ruins people's lives to a certain extent. Are they asking for it? Ofcourse,......but it's still disgusting.

"Photojournalist in Waco." Yeah, baby. The big cult fire would have been interesting to "shoot."

I love how this show airs with commercials for Ashley Madison (a dating service for people already in attached relationships; a dating service for cheaters).
