Pseudo Fisheye In post - HOW?

Can I replicate the "Death Lens" type fisheye in post?

The filters Spherize, Pinch/punch or Deform filters all kinda sortof do it. Wondering if anyone had any tips for a convincing version?

I'd love to know a secret formula for this also. I've got sort of results
from spherize and then zooming the video with track motion but I lose
resolution. I'm still messing with it but I'm sure someone here will have the secret.
