Error "There is no timecode calculator in timecode track builder"

Error "There is no timecode calculator in timecode track builder"

Has anyone gotten this error message when importing footage to FCP?

I am going via USB to FCP 6.0.2 on a dual G5.

Most clips import perfectly, but some give this message. 24p seem to give it most often.

I got that message when I changed my cameras time code to free run. I changed it back and it hasn't happened since.

I did the same. Does that mean that you can't use free run code?

That would suck.

Or it could be a bug that will be addressed.

I'm getting it consistently even after changing back to record run code.

Defiantly a bug in the Transfer 2.1 software.

You changed back and recorded new clips, and your still getting the error?

Anyone figured out a way around this? My boss shot some footage for a client yesterday, and now I'm getting this error. Is there a way around it?

Working on a Mac G5 using XDCAM Transfer 2.1 with an EX1.

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

There is no timecode calculator in timecode track builder

I have this issue too. There is no timecode calculator in timecode track builder,
I have been shooting HQ 720 24p and switching to 48 frames over cranked. I called Sony and spoke to Ian Cook and he said there has been another incident with this error message with the HQ 720 24p mode. He asked me to email the BPAV XML file as well as the clip XML file. My time code is set to clock, however I don't think this has anything to do with the issue. I can view the clips in the Clip Browser software so I'm hoping it is a software bug in the XD Can Transfer 2.1 program.
If anyone has a fix so I don't have to capture with HD-SDI I would appreciate it.
